We’ve often been asked to take on lawn care and we’ve always politely declined…. until now!
We currently offer the following treatments. You may have an idea of what you would like, otherwise we’re happy to discuss what we think would benefit your garden.
□ Late Feb/March Spring-Gem 14-3-10 Foliar Fertiliser Wake up lawn, boost growth, recover from Winter
□ March/April Light Scarify to remove winter moss
□ April Selective Weed Killer (Dicophar 24-D, dicamba, MCPA & mecoprop-p).
□ April/May Lawn Sand 3.5N + 3.6Fe (68 g/m)
□ Late May/June Nutri-Gem 15-15-15 Foliar Encourage dense healthy growth, prevent weeds/moss
□ Summer Abzorb Wetting Agent Triple-action to help water penetrate and move into the soil (monthly when dry or as needed)
□ ~August Selective Weed Killer – if an otherwise limited programme (Dicophar 24-D, dicamba, MCPA & mecoprop-p).
□ Late July/August Slow N 28-0-0 Liquid Fertiliser Sustain lawn under summer stress (heat / dryness) Prepare for autumn
□ Late /August Moss Treatment. Maxicrop No. 2 or additional Ferro-Gem
□ August – October Heavy Scarify & overseed
□ Sep/Oct Lawn Sand 3.5N + 3.6Fe
□ Sep/Early Oct Autumn Gem 4-2-16 Foliar Repair, prepare for winter, moss/thatch control Strengthen root systemMoss control
□ Nov/Dec/Jan Ferro-Gem Liquid Iron / Low-N feed 10-0-20 Protect through winter, maintain colour, Suppress moss/weeds
We are able to dispose of scarifying waste (although it can’t be composted). Later we’ll offer aeration also.
